Christ is My Food, Leah Cho

The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has changed my life in many ways. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Chemistry degree. My life in college was somewhat miserable because I was striving after the wind (Ecclesiastes 1:14). My mind was always filled with anxieties concerning the future, and I was under constant pressure from schoolwork. Then by the Lord's mercy, after I graduated, I came to the FTTA. Hallelujah! Here I began to learn how to really depend on the Lord for my daily life supply. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is John 6:57 which says “As the living Father has sent Me and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me.” I used to depend on my own strength and effort while feeding on my empty dreams. Now, in the FTTA, I am feeding on Christ every day and I am truly finding out I can live because of Him.

When the children of Israel came out of Egypt to the wilderness, all they ate was manna. The Lord knew their Egyptian tastes had to be changed. This is truly my experience. Before the Training, I had to force myself to read the Bible, the reality of the manna (John 6:51). Now I love the Word because it is my food. It is so sweet to read the Word prayerfully. This strengthens me to follow the Lord daily, and fills me with joy and peace. Without the help of the Training I do not think this could have happened in such a short time.
